get something made for the job, and just as "cheap"....

Chamber Saftey Flag

I bought a dozen a long time ago when I began shooting Highpower, to treat them as expendable items. I still have the dozen, and eleven are still unused.

I dont know what the rules are at the range you go to are but......Ball point pens work well. Just put em in the ejection port.

Comes with Century C&R rifles as well and under $100.

I have probably thrown a couple handfulls away.

Alot of people at my range, especially those shooting AKs use anything they can find. I have used a blue ball point pen before. I have seen some people even use a casing. Looks more like an unattended malfunction rather than a cleared chamber.
