Assuming that the A2 HBAR Match is a Colt R6601 and the A2 HBAR Competition is a Colt R6700:
R6601 = 1/7 twist, fixed carry handle
R6700 = 1/9 twist, detachable carry handle

Both are prebans , Both have FIXED carry handles, both have flash hiders.

You might want to post this in the colt industry forum. There are several people who know a great deal aobut colt models. Plus, you won't be bothered by the angrey hord of colt bashers...
