Hello All,

Does anybody have any pictures of the new Midwest Industries MI#17-X (2 Piece Extended Tactical Handguards) attached on a 14 ½ inch upper receiver assembly, I’m considering buying a set of these but was just wondering what they would look. So the battle for me right now is trying to decide which set of handguards to buy the standard set or the extended set. All pictures and responses are greatly appreciated.

Not extended, and not even a closeup, but I love the MI 17s on my RRA/Stag combo. I didn't even use a handguard tool, but... my fingertips are still a little sore! Tight fit, I love them, have a TD vfg and a vltor + pentagon x2 on it.

I don't see the advantage of the extended version.

My 17X:

It's nice for having your flashlight out farther forward. As I've said before, though, I'd prefer to have more lower rail than upper.
