I found this bushmaster XM15-E26  on the barrel it says 5.56 nato 1:9 twist standard or maybe alittle bit heavier 20inch barrel wth flashhider and bayonet lug. It has a decent scope, harris bi-pod, different pistol grip with a target base thing around the bottom. It's got a very nice trigger pull, like 3 pounds or less.  The guy at the pawn shop is letting me pay it off in 6 months so thats cool.  so I went ahead and got it.

Check to make sure the barrel is marked "B MP 5.56" forward of the front sight.  Just to make sure it isn't a cheap parts kit built on a Bushmaster lower receiver.

If the barrel is marked as such then it sounds like it's a Bushy - a great rifle.  Used $700 isn't a bad price but it's not a great deal either.  A few years ago that would have gotten you a new one.

Also check and see if the Front Sight Base is not canted to the right or the left...

There has been quite a few of those as of late, my Bushy being one of those...
