I just bought a Bushmaster M4 A3 for fun and am looking at getting it setup.  I have decided to remove the carry handle, but am not sure what is the best setup for my needs.  I am looking to get an Eotech, but also want it scoped for longer range shots.  I might also occasionally use it for medium range small varmit while out shooting.  I currently have a CZ .17 cal for varmint so this will not be a dedicated varmint rifle.  Nor will, it have to defend my life when deployed...uncle sam will issue me that one.  Any ideas on how to stack these optics and still keep BUIS?  Thanks

I found this setup on tacticalgears.com but it seems as if their stuff might not be the best quality.  Here is kinda what I am looking for

You can mount a magnified scope in a LaRue mount and put a Dr. Optic red dot just to the side, then a flip rear sight.

Or just use the EOTech.

Or get an EOTech on a LaRue mount and another optic in a LaRue mount and switch them out depending on your mission.

Yeah, the picture you posted is all fourth rate gear. To get good kit costs money. A LOT of money.

You could set it up like the 3 gunners do.  put a magnified scope on top, and cant you eotech to the side so you can use both in an instant...  someone might be able to post a pic of what i'm talking about...

I agree the gear is fourth rate, but I liked the mount so I just bought the mount only.  Plant to mount my Eotech on top and save up for a good scope for underneath.  No need for a laser or light for my play toy.
