| I was looking for some handguards and ran across suppressors for AR's. How do these fit on? I assume the flash hider serves a pupose by making the barrel legal by it being 16 inches. Does the suppressor go on over the flash hider or do you take it off? I think mine is permantly on the barrel (bushy A3) Thanks for any help with these questions. |
| Do you mean Sound Suppressors? If so It depends on the type. Some are designed to mount on a standard Flash hider, others use proprietary mounts that act as FH's when the can is off, others are simply threaded to mate with a bare threaded barrel. Check the FA forum for more info. |
