Start 'em young. Our future depends on keeping a new generation involved in shooting.

He's 7 now I finally got him to move on from the 22 and now he wants to shoot it all the time so I'll have to build another I guess .

Yeah, I started my son at 8 (now 11) with a .22.  It didn't take him long to start buggin to shoot the AR's.  It was a lot cheaper when he was shooting the .22 but I'm glad he likes shooting.  My daughter now 21 never took interest in shooting and beleive me, I tried.  Not that she is a girly girl but she was always afraid of them, I guess they were too loud or somthing.

I started my two boys shooting when they were 7 and 5 y/o (they're now 9 and 7) with their own assault style .22 LR rifles and they like it.

I was taught by my father to shoot when I was just 5 y/o which got me interested in all types of guns.

That's a nice picture that you posted, I'll have to remember to take pics when we go out shooting next time.

Thanks for sharing.
