I freaken ordered 2 thousand rounds of XM193 not the PD crap either I have never shot this before and only heard great stuff about it I also have never bulk ordered nor stockpiled this amount what the hell am I in for. I'll never shoot 1/2 of that unless SHTF/TEOTWAWKI
can anyone give me a general Idea of just how much 2k is?

Should be just 4 small boxes, takes up very little room. You will be surprised. Heck, 2000 rounds is just a good start. I'll shoot a thousand rounds on a good day of shooting.

How much does 4 boxes weigh? 50-60 lbs?

+1 I run through about 1k each time I'm out... it makes the round count easy that way.

This is 16,200 rounds of South African I bought a few years ago.

This was in addtion to Q3131, Q3131A, Georgia Arms (over 10,000 rounds), & Black Hills.

I'm down to my last 2 cases.

yeah its commin in 20rd round boxes from those pics it doesn't look like nearly as much as it sounded but still a good amount when I get an upclose and personal look I may order 2k of that M855. thanks for your help it doesn't seem like a mistake now

XM193 is good stuff, I've went through lots of it. As others have said, 2K is a lot less than you think.

Even if you shoot conservatively, you'll probably go through it in a year or two. If you shoot like me, it would be gone in about 10 weekends of shooting many calibers of guns at the range or 4 good weekends of AR blasting.

One really fun afternoon with an m16.

It's not that much. Have shot 2500 rounds off in an afternoon with friends and 3 rifles before.

The Boxed XM193 is good stuff. Keep at least 500-1000 rounds on hand at all times.

Will take up space about the size of a smallish cooler. It's not really that much.

yeah, those Federal boxes of 500 each are less than 6"x6"x12" and more like 5"x5"x12"

wow, if anyone ever needs 2K rounds for a SHTF scenario, they're likely hood of surviving such a situation would almost be nil
