I currently have an ACE fullsized skelly stock which came on my Bushy. I am wanting to replace this NOW. I like the rubber buttpad, but I'd like some adjustability, and the skeely stock looks quite GHEY. So, which stocks would you recommend I get? I am prepared to pay for any of the 4 listed and am strongly leaning toward the Magpul M93B. So my order after much research is: M93B LMT SOPMOD VLTOR Stag/CMT M4 Any opinions? Please help. I really want to order this thing tonight. So a concern I have is: No rubber buttpad available for the M93B - will I need it? Is the surface as sharp as an M4 stock? I usually shoot in T-shirts. Don't much care for the waffle skin. YES I know it's only .223 in an AR. |

What type of shooting do you do, what configuration is your AR? Is weight or accuracy more important? Do you need battery storage? ARs that are heavier out front (HBARS, barrels longer than 16") are balanced better with the Magpul. VLTOR offers battery storage (if you need it), the CMT is the lightest of the group. First define your needs, THEN select equipment that will meet those requirements. |

Thanks - sorry should've been a little clearer. 16" fluted barrel EOTech on flattop w/flip ups I guess I'd choose accuracy over weight, although I don't want a tank of a stock. Is the Magpul really that heavy? I don't need batt storage. I am going to get the MagPul grip. Although I wouldn't refuse the storage if I had it. |
| I like the LMT SOPMOD, that said I like the Magpul and Vltor as well, I have all three but prefer the LMT slightly over the Magpul. The magpul has the best cheek weld of all three. It's a matter of personal preference with regards to function, form etc., you can't go wrong with either. |
