I have a 16'' XM177E2 barrel and is stamped [ SS 556 ] and is not cut goverment style under the handguards. It look like a H-Bar style to me. Can anyone help me Identifty this barrel ,who made it, what brand is it?

some people will bash oly for not chrome lining their barrels, however their accuracy is quite good

ummmmm, why would you need to chrome line a stainless barrel?
