Well........I just picked up a "post-ban" 20" HBAR Bushmaster off of my brother. As you all know this has a crowned muzzle. The dilemma I have is whether or not to have it threaded, or just save up and buy another barrel....I think by the time I disassemble, ship, put back together, it would be just about a wash.....what say the masses???

Do it, its super easy to take off the barrel. I can tell you how if you want to know.

I'd do it just to piss off all the liberals that thinka threaded muzzle is evil

Don't you have anyone local that could do it.  I had my FAL shortened and threaded for $50 by the local guy.  Course my local guy is Derrick Martin.

I have a threaded post ban.  I don't care about the bayonet lug that I'll never use, if you do want a lug (dunno why?), yeah go ahead and get new.  If you're more into using your rifle than having it looks evil, don't worry about a bayonet lug.

I say go for, take it to the smith and have um thread away, if not now eventually you will want it on there if your wrestling with installing it now.
