so, i've been around weapons for quite some time, and built a few when time and money has permitted. i know my way through most weapons and, until recently, considered myself somewhat of a shade-tree armorer until the other day...  what the hell direction does a crush washer go on!? is it convex side toward the barrel, convex side toward the flash hider, or does it matter...? i grew up in a ban state and never had the opportunity to install any muzzle devices with one. so this weekend i recieved a new barrel kit, and sat [stupified], at this seemingly insignificant piece of hardware. help! |
