now my question is with the top piece of the handguard bearing on the front sight and
the bittom handguard bearing on the barrel nut, it seems ot me that the pressure would torque the barrel in a downword position am I correct in this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.


Has zero affect on the barrel.
