First, I finally finished my Rifle (for now).  It is a RRA lower and RRA LPK, mated to a J&T upper with a 24" bull barrel (squirrel blaster).  Over all, I am very satisfied with my first build, although I have a few questions hopefully some of you can clear up:

1.  When I first assembled the rifle, upper to lower fit was perfect.  No slop to speak of.  Now, after about 150 rounds and a few cleanings, I have a little, just enough to annoy me. Is this normal?  Is there any way to fix it?

2.  I have the RRA 2 stage trigger installed.  I was under the impression that the trigger and hammer pins are supposed to be oversized a bit, so that they do not rotate in the lower reciever.  Mine went in very easily and do rotate in the reciever. After about 30 rounds or so, they will walk out a bit.  Does anyone else have this problem with this trigger setup?

3.  I'm not really sure how many rounds I should put through the stainless barrel before cleaning..  What is typical?  I really would like this barrel to last, but I like to shoot a lot.  Is there anything I can do to prolong it's life?  How long do stainless barrels usually last?

Thanks alot for all the help and advise I recieved from you guys!  Couldn't have done it without this board!

EDIT:  This was supposed to go in the Build forum.  Mods, please feel free to move it if necessary.  My bad.

Two ways. Link or these Link

I have a Bushmaster with this trigger and have no problem.
But you can get these. Link

Awesome, thanks!

It looks like I screwed up the barrel break in a bit.  It didn't say how long stainless barrels usually last. Does anyone have any ideas on this?

Thanks!

To be honest, there is no firm factor as to how long a BBL will last.
There are so many variables to consider.
Shooting cheap ammo
Did the BBL get hardened properly?
Was it machined straight and true?
Is it cleaned properly and on a regular basis?
The solvents that you use can create early wear.
Will it be used in only clean areas or run through sand and dirt?
Do you overheat the BBL every time out?
Do you only shoot three rounds a day?

The chances are it will outlast you if you take reasonable care of it.
If not, well the beauty of the AR is that the BBL is easy to change.
I would not worry about BBL life unless you think you will treat the thing harder than
our guys in the sand box do under full auto in sand and dirt.
If you must have some sort of a number then I would say you will begin to see larger groups after 15 to 20 thousand rounds.

Cool, thanks alot for all the info Rollyman.  I think I'm going to try out that accu-wedge and the anti-walk pins.

I figured the barrel should last a long time, but hearing all the talk about 1500-3000 rounds barrel life and "if it's not chrome lined, it wont last" had me a little worrried.  I guess I'll just shoot, and worry about it when/if it does wear out.

Thanks!
