[ARCHIVED THREAD] - State Gun Laws?

I'm currently in North Carolina, getting ready to choose a law school. I'm considering going to another state but I'm NOT going anywhere that my AR can't come along, or I can't get a concealed carry permit. I realize that to ask for a list of all regs in all states would be a bit much, but do any of you know of a link where I can find information regarding how lax/stringent various states are with gun laws?

Isn't every self-respecting gun owner?
I just figured someone might readily know of a link to check out that would save a little research time (like packing.org- thanks!). NRA site will be my next stop.

Packing.org is a good site. They have links to each state as well as a news section for each one. Great to get info if you are traveling.
