I frequently see statements on reloading the AR (in .223 and the 6.5 grendel) that the pressures are kept low due to the weakness of the chamber area and that higher velocities are obtainable in similarly chambered bolt actions guns. Just wondered what the weakness is, i.e., chamber diameter profile or bolt. Thanks, Tim |
