A lot of people told me to keep them informed of how my paint job was doing on my Recce build. I've put a measly 300 or so rounds through it, but the paint is mostly holding up well. The worst places are around the mag well and right in front of the gas block. The paint is chipping on the former and bubbling on the latter. Its all but worn off of the hogue grip....but i knew that would happen. Theres a little wear on the stock but thats also to be expected. I'm gonna blow through another 1-200 rounds this weekend i hope and I'll try to post some pics of it. I'm really pleased, since it took about 2 hours and 10 bucks. |
