I got my ammo from PCA Friday - 110 V-Max. I shot 20 rounds from my M1 Sales/Olympic Arms (lower) rifle 16" barrel. Absolutely no jams. Everything extracted just the way it should have. I had four groups of five shots each at 100 yds standing no sling support using a red dot scope. The 1st group was my fault since I pulled the 1st shot to the left. The other four rounds grouped in about an 1" across. I have never used a red dot scope and that was causing me a few problems with the accuracy. The next two groups averaged about 1 and 1/2" across. The last group had all five rounds in about an inch diameter. The 6.8SPC performed better than I expected and with iron sights I expect the accuracy to improve. I thought recoil was more on par wtih a M-1 carbine. It did leave a few marks on my shoulder which my National Match AR-15A2 does not. I will definitely be ordering more ammo from PCA. They have a good business ethic and treat their customers really well. The loads were all consistant and fed reliably. Any accuracy problems were from using a red dot scope and from my screw ups. I was extremely impressed with 6.8SPC when I shot it. I never really cared for the AR series since I thought the round was too weak - this round remedies that short coming. I have been invited to go hog hunting, and if I go I am now considering taking this rifle with me to see how it performs. |
