does any one know if the side and bottom rails can be removed. there appears to be bolts holding them in place.

You're the same guy who said the guys front sight was in the way of his scope...

The Predator is very, very lightweight. Im betting that set up is lighter than many other set ups with full rail systems.

You'd probably win that bet. Weight is one of the reasons I chose the Predator system. Pound for pound, it allows you to "stack more stuff" on it than most of the other systems.

As a plus, it also saves some cash.

It's "lite" on the back AND the wallet.
