How the hell do you remove the bottom cap to install it??????

I'm turning, trying to pry, it's not working!  That plastic screw thingy is almost stripped now

use a quarter and turn the plastic insert till its straight back and forth with the gun and then pull on the rubber part and it should come out.

remove the small round plastic cap in the center, throw it away, it does nothing.  a screwdriver along the edge should work, or needle nose pliers. pry the oval rubber plug out with a screw driver.  that is all there is too it.

oh thx.  I must say, this is one of the worst design over!  I think I'll just leave it unplugged

hmm i didnt think its that much of a hassle.  plus the coin twist deal makes for added security when dragging it against stuff so it wont come undone.

only takes me a coin and a pull on the rubber.

but to all their own,

I have two of them and yes they are tight but I like not haveing to worry about things falling apart. Maybe I'm just strange that way.

I have no idea how you're just pulling on the rubber thingy.  I cant budge it with my hands.  I gotta use the coin to pry it a little, then I can grip it to pull it off.

was going to say something but i think its inappropiate.

i have had mine for quite some time now so that might be why its easier. or you could just keep twisting it to break it in.
