I did a search but could find nothing.
How is the latch on the charging handle removed, is it a push pin that holds it in ,or is it threaded?

I just don't want to wreck the charging handle, I am good at wrecking stuff.

Its a small roll pin. Be careful not to lose the spring when that pin comes out. Somehow I think theres a magic place those damn things dissapear to if they happen to get away. You may even see which direction it goes and where it lands, but that lil bastard will be gone when you look for it.

don't take it apart to clean, just use q-tips.

I need to take it off ,I am putting on an Ambi-Latch.
Is the roll pin threaded.
Could you give more details.

It's nothing but a standard roll-pin.

Just punch it out, and watch out for the spring.
