It seems like no one makes one. I've seen a stainless muzzle break or two but no flash hider/suppressor. Does anyone know why this is?

Heavier, more expensive to make and replace, more brittle metallurgically than carbon steel.
Really no need for it.

If you are trying to match a bright stainless barrel, you can get a chromed FH from DPMS.

.......or have yours bright nickle plated at a chrome shop.  Looks exactly like polished stainless.  The chopped gas block on my .17 Rem AR below is nickle plated to match the stainless barrel.
