Boy, I hope that's thick enough.

I built a swinger (welded to two lengths of chain) and Wolf .223 would punch through it about 25% of the time at 100yds. The front plate is about 3/8" thick. It would then fragment upon hitting the back plate. I also shot it with .308 ball......bad idea Put a BIG hole in the front (upwards of half an inch, lots bigger than the actual bullet) and then fragmented on the back plate. It almost flipped the damn target over...........Needles to say, this swinger target is relegated to pistol only status from now on.

Just got back from the range.  It did pretty well.  bullets dinged up the front of the target and did not even dimple out the back side at 100m

damage

painted it when i got home

and added a smile for good measure

Looks like it held up well. How well did it spin when you hit it?

Nice, I am trying to come up with somethign as well but I want to practice double taps on it.

I may just have to spend the money and buy "real" targets.
