Hi all,

Is there a big difference between Wilson and Shaw chrome moly barrels? Which one would you recommend? Thanks!

No. I have both. They both work well, reasonable accuracy, good function. Shaws from J&T, and Wilsons from DPMS.

either brand--both are good

i would also recommed chrome-LINED bbls for most guns

I have chrome lined, unlined, and SS, and can't tell a difference in accuracy due to material. The bull barrel I had was more accurate than the others that have more normal contours, but that was more due to the large barrel diameter than it was due to material or chrome.
