How effective are the Y Comp and Mini Y Comp compensators, in regard to accuracy, and reduced recoil to affect follow up shots, using an AR15.  My chief concern is their affect on accuracy vs. a standard A2 birdcage suppressor, and their ability to reduce re-coil so as to aid in consistent POA, in follow up shots.

Not sure on the accuracy - it didn't make a difference large enough for me to notice.  The muzzle flip is slightly more controlled with the mini Y comp, but you pay for it with an incredibly loud muzzle break.  It's pretty obnoxious to those around you & for low-light, it's blinding.  For me, the slight benefits were outweighed by the drawbacks.

I just got rid of a bushmaster with the minni y comp and got one eith a Izzy flash hider.

No I have not niticed a difference in accuracy at 100 yards and to tell ya the truth I do't notice a difference in recoil or muzzle climb.

However there is an incredible difference in noise that minni y is   well rediculace, plus if you stand next to someone firing on it has enough back force to blow your hat off.

From my exspeience don;t do it there have been and still are enough threads on here about taking one off rather than the benifits.  Mine included

Thank you both for your input.  I guess I will keep my hat in place, and pass on the Y Comp.
