Very nice, but isn't the ARMS #42 Versa Pod Bipod mount facing backwards?

I think they go either way.

Personally, I would mount it with the bipod forward, as mentioned above, to maximize the bipod radius, but I don't have any Versa Pods, only Harris'.

Nice work, Stormriders1. It appears that we have another designer/illustrator in our midst, which I'm always pleased to see. Am I right?

Thanks eveyone! I'm a graphic artist by training. The illustration part comes from practice. BigB1129, you will not learn to draw like this in school. Just practice at home. School will introduce you to the software and the basics but you'll have to develop your style by yourself. You can draw like this, it just takes a lot of patience.

that is nice work, storm.

with an imagination like that, it won't be long before you will be in a design shop knocking out real projects.

welcome to the boards........

I knew it. I'm in the same business. Isn't it great to be able to be creative day in and day out-- and get paid for doing something you're passionate about? I don't know how far into your career you are, but be careful. It's easy to get burned out if you don't take care of yourself. Set regular hours if possible and select your clients carefully. It can be difficult not to accept every job that comes through the door, but it will ruin you if you're not selective at some point.

By the way, I'll bet you could sell hi-res prints of that illustration here with some success...

Best of luck!

Thank you! I've been in the industry for 9 years. Didn't always draw like this though. I can barely operate Illustrator and Photoshop when I graduated. On the job training and a lot of practice got me to where I am now. I'm also a medical illustrator for a dental company and attributed a lot of my style to medical illustrations. Highlights and shadows and the fine details are a must.

Check out my website and see the other rifles I've done. I'm currently selling an exploded view poster of an M14. www.dogfightink.com
