Scrounged off the Colt website:

The 6920 is lighter- 5.65 lbs & has the barrel notch for your gernade launcher and a 1 in 7'' twist for your tracer rounds. seems to be the most preferred at the moment.

The 6721 weight is at 7 lbs.  a 1 in 9" twist heavy barrel. I think the 6721 is a more desirable unless you are planning to have the launcher...otherwise I feel the notch is just a "weak point" and an unused option, (like the bayonet lug?) I don't know what would happen to tracers fired from a 1 in 9 barrel (apart from vaporizing your testicles!!!!

According to the literature I have, the 6920 weight is 5.95lbs.  The 6921 (14.5" barrel) weights in at 5.65lbs.

A friend fired some tracers out of this 1:9 DPMS without any troubles.

The grenade launcher notch is not a "weak point" on the M4 barrel profile.  When tested to failure, the barrel failed much further back.

The roll marks are also different on them

while this mean absolutely nothing functionally, it may mean quite a lot come re-sale time

Are the feed ramps different? Does the 6721 have the m4 cut feed ramps? Does the 6920?(I'm new)

They both have the M4 feed ramps.
