Hey Everyone, I'm new to the site as you can tell.  Very cool site.  I'm impressed with the amount of info and how knowledgable a lot of the posters are.

My question is, does anyone know of a good case for an AR pistol?  I have a bushmaster carbon 15 21S so it's 20" in length.  I'd really like an inexpensive plastic hardcase but can't find anything that's over 20" but smaller than 36".  I've also looked for submachinegun softcases but the mag pouches are for pistol caliber mags of course.  The only one I've found that's truly made for AR pistols is the one from DPMS which is a 24" softcase for $50.  This may be my best bet but I was wondering if anyone else had some suggestions.

Also on a side note.  Is there a search function on the forum?

Nevermind on the search I see it now that I'm registered.

It's not necessarily inexpensive, but a pelican 1600 case would be about the right size.

I bought a paintball gun case at Gander Mtn for about $30. It is really nice.

TacForce makes a 20" case that has two compartments.  The main compartment has velcro tie down straps and the outer compartment for your mags and accessories has three velcro backed mag pouches that hold 30 round mags.  The case is rectangular and doesn't look like a gun case.  Mine cost me $40.00

Thanks for the suggestions.  The pelican is a nice case but a little more than I want to spend.  I guess I'd have to look at the TacForce one.  Not sure if a 20" firearm would fit in a 20" case (it's the worst when it won't fit by a fraction of an inch).  I'll have to take a look at paintball cases.  I guess a lot of paintball guns are around the same size.

Does anyone know anything about this DPMS case?  Thanks for all the advice.
