How long is the longest part of the G.I cleaning kit?

I measure about 7 3/8" (the length of each section of the broken down cleaning rod).

Right , but the t handle folds over only half way . Is that section longer than the rest?

It folds and slides on mine, so it ends up being the same length as all the other pieces.

nope, it folds, THEN slides, rod section is 7 3/8"

Actually, the Jepordy answer would be.....the case itself.

It is about 9" unfolded, but that was not what you really wanted to know.
