| How hard is it to remove a standard A2 stock and replace with a telescoping? Recently configured my post-ban Bushmaster with a M4 upper with phantom FS and want to add the total look with a telescoping stock. Also which is a good one? I don't want anything fancy just a nice low price stock that won't break a E2's bank account. Also I now am residing in WA not NY, no NY AWB worries. |

You might want to buy a CAR stock wrench because it makes the whole thing a lot easier. You can check out the tutorial here on AR15.com about stock assembly and installation, but it's pretty self explanatory. You can do it yourself without any special tools but its a little tough. As for which telescoping stock is best, check the tacked discussion in this forum, on page one. But if budget is a main factor, you can grab a 4 position telescoping stock (military style) for like 50-60 bucks. And there you have it, good luck with everything. Keep on rocking in the free world. http://freehostedimages.com/upload/1/shooting102.jpg |
