This is great news!... Once the current liberal, rabid, anti-gun administration bans firearms entirely, gun crime WILL skyrocket. Violent crime very nearly always increases following such legislation. As a result, we can expect the criminal element of that society to do us all the great favor of exterminating the current liberal population........ The anti-gun crowd just does not get it. They never have, and never will. Their arguement and philosophy is based entirely on fallacy and erroneous assumptions. Imagine a situation were there are a large number of sheep, and a number of wolves. Wolves prey on sheep. As a result, sheep herders are often dismayed to find disembowled sheep. There are only three ways to address this problem: 1) All these sheep were killed by TEETH. TEETH were used to bite, wound, and kill sheep, therefore the sheep herders outlaw all teeth. Of course, the wolves never showed up to have their teeth extracted. As a result, sheep maiming and killing continue. As the wolves discover that this particular flock of sheep is completely defenseless, they choose to ingore other flocks and focus entirely on this flock of toothless sheep. Sheep killings in this flock skyrocket. Sheep herders at busy extracting teeth, and devising plans for removing horns, hooves and other potentially hazardous parts. Since the sheep herders are busy elsewhere this encoruages further sheep depredations. However, at the flock down the road: 2) All these sheep were killed by WOLVES. While it is true that wolves have teeth, the sheep herders recognize that the problem is an overabundance of wolves. The herders begin to look for large predatory carnivores of all types. Of course there are far more sheep than herders, and the sheep are spread over a large grazing area. While the herders are busy shooting at wolves, coyotes and the occasional mountain lion on the west side of the pasture, other wolves on the east side kill and eat a lamb.... This is not perfect, but sheep depredations do drop significantly. However, in a somewhat different area: 3) The wolves are preying on relatively defenseless sheep. These sheep have hooves, small horns and teeth, but these are not particularly effect deterents. And there are but a few sheep herders. The herders continue to shoot and capture wolves, but they decide to breed a new strain of long horned, sharp hooved sheep. These sheep are more defensive that regular sheep. Local wolves quickly realize that this particular flock of sheep are not easy pickings. These damned sheep fight back! A few wolves are shot at by the sheep herder, but when others sneak in to pick off a lamb or two, a dozen pissed off sheep stomp two wolves to death!. Whoa! The wolves recognize that this is too much work. The local wolf population either moves to a different spot, looking for toothless sheep, or it starves to death. San Francisco has been a bastion of antigun, liberal, flake politics. It very much seems like a magnet for everything I despise. I, for one, think their latest antigun venture is great news. It's very likely means that particular flock is going to experience a whole lotta sheep losses....... Frozenny |
