| Howdy. Thanks to all of the help from the people on this website. I have finally made up my mind and ordered my first AR-15 online from http://www.aimsurplus.com It is a Bushmaster 16" M4A3. Bird cage flash supresor, attach point for nade launcher, bayonet lug mount, chrome lined barrel, telestock. All of the evil features, that as the guys in slapshot said "make it look mean!". Aim has a 6-8 week wait for these bad boys right now. BUT they only cost $809.95 That is the best price that I have seen yet. I also threw a Romanian AK WASR-10 on the bill. The sales lady on the phone was very helpful. She told me that in a week or two they will have a new model of the AK in stock that has a bayonet lug and flash supressor on it for close to $330.00 Look for it on the site in a week or two. The aim saleslady gave me a list of shops with FFL's allready on file with them in my area. All of this has been hard to manage because I am currently stationed in the sandbox. I wont be home for another month or two so the wait for the rifles wont kill me. Now I have something to look forward to when I get back. Time to shop for more accessories! You made a good choice TurkeyBurgers  Your new carbine will serve you well.Even though it won't happen for another month or two, WELCOME HOME!!! My family and I sincerely thank you for everything you have done to make the world a safer place. When you get back and get your rifle please keep me in mind if you ever are in a jam and need a small part fast. I will gladly donate whatever small parts you need, assuming I have it onhand. |
