Hello gentlemen(and I use that term rather loosely),
I just got a LMT upper and LMT lower and the pin that attaches the upper to the lower on the rear of the rifle falls out when I put it in. I haven't put the grip or stock on yet because RRA has a six week + wait on six position stocks. That means the selector switch isn't on yet either. This is my first build. I am wondering if I should contact the seller to ask for a different pin. Will this problem resolve it'self when I get everything else installed? The darn thing just drops right out if I tilt the rifle. Any advice would be appreciated. This rifle is starting to look pretty nice since I put the handguards on it, and I'm getting excited about shooting it.

The pin won't stay in because the takedown pin detent and spring aren't in.  If you look at the lower recever from the rear, you'll see a small hole on the bottom right side of the receiver.  This is where the detent and spring go.  they are held in by the stock.  These hold in the rear takedown pin.

Once you get your stock, spring and detent in, it should be fine.  Assuming you have the parts on hand.

Thanks guys, I was a little worried. Unlce Sam always gave 'em to use fully built.  This has been an interesting learning experience to roll my own AR.  It's looking pretty good so far. The range report will be soon to follow.
