Obviously the barrel life will depend largely what type of ammunition you shoot, but does anyone know how many rounds roughly before you will see an accuracy difference ? And what is the typical service life for a chorme lined 1:7 ?

It wil depend more on how you shoot it than anything else. A weapon that is used mainly at the range being slow fire bench shot, will outlast a barrel that is run through CQB drills.
