I am trying to find out who, where, when, and how I can locate an upper receiver that was built in .50 AE.
I know they were done at one time but that was a few years ago, so now I want to find them again.

Any help you guys can give will be well appreciated.

Ok, mofo, help is on the way...

Hesse makes it.

Here's one on gunbroker:

No, I'm not the seller.

That's a nice one, but I'm just looking for an upper to put on a lower that I am building right now.

What's wrong with that?

Are you asking because you don't know, or because you find Hesse Arms to be of fine quality?

I don't normally answer a question with a question but in this case I'll make an exception.

Hesse is bad. Very bad... we don't speak of Hesse around here, along with Vulcan; not the cool ones like Spock but the "GUN" company.
