| Hey guys I just got my bushmaster m4 type. I was wanting suggestions on what to do to it to completely customize it so when myself or someone else sees it they know it's my rifle. I have the A3 upper with the removable carring hangle and collapsable butt stock and I ordered an ATN Ultra Sight (red dot). If I put a custom paint job on it is it ok to have someone use airbrush paints on it? Thanks a lot for any and all input. Hopefully you guys help me come up with some good ideas. |

I would suggest Norrels Moly Resin, there are a lot of people here who have found it super easy to apply, as well as very durable. It is more affordable than any of the other quality refinishing products currently available that I know of. I recently did a write up that is pretty detailed, and should give you all the information you coudl ever want, if you have any questions, feel free to fire away. www.pre-ban.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=19024&st=0& Here is a picture of a lower receiver that I refinished that had been VERY beat up, and looked horrid.  Here is a picture of an entire weapon that I refinished after I turned it into a M4, it was a 12 year old carbine that belongs to a very active (pro-RKBA) city cop, and the wear on it showed.
