Which Phantom do you guys like best or have the best reputation? 5C1 or 5C2? I will be putting it on my M4 build FWIW.

I went for the 5C1,doesnt snagged onto anything, also is user friendly on gun cases.

And they look great.

I have both and the original.

No one looks at the 5C1 and says thats cool.

In fact, some ask why I ground off the teeth.

Do the 5C2 or the original.

I thought the 5c2 is the new closed bottom port one,closed on the bottom like the A2 birdcage.I have both the 5 port round front 2cnd model wich did away with the sharp front and the 3rd model 5 port closed bottom.So all in all there are 3 varieties.The sharp one,the one from Bushmaster and the closed bottom one from YHM.

My 5C2 (posted pic above) does have the closed bottom. I just didn't take a pic of it from that angle.

There are 3 models. From left to tight, they are as follows.

The first is the YHM-28. This is a 4 slot with one of the slots facing down and it has points on the end.
The second is the YHM-5C1. This is a 5 slot, w/ a closed bottom and no points on the end.
The third is the YHM-5C2. This is also a 5 slot w/a closed bottom but has points on the end.

They use the A2 flash hider. The phantom line of flash hiders are strictly aftermarket.

Check the EE or industry forums here on ar15.com I bought mine from BrightFlashlights and had great service, but there are many others to choose from as well. Price should be < $25 delivered.

I pretty much look at any FS nowadays and say "that's cool"
