and a special thanx to Knesek Guns, Denny's, G&R Tactical, Adco, Larue Tactical and Bravo Company for taking all of my money
I can't say enough good things about all of these guys.

P.S.
Denny's did some outstanding work with floating the upper and mounting the 1 in 7 barrel and 5C2, thank you Denny and thank you Larry Knesek for having the best damn prices anywhere on "all" M4's

Does the EOtech not co witness with iron sights? I've been thinking of getting one instead of an aimpoint or tripower. Is that extra mount there just for the QD feature or is it necessary for co witness?

That is a nice set up! Are those challenge coins? Take care.

Did you get one of the budweiser coins that Anheuser-Busch was giving over there? Out of all my coins it is my favorite.

It co witness's perfectly. I highly suggest you pick up the Larue mount, it's really nice having the Irons in the lower 1/3 instead of dead center. Just my .02

That is an extremely well thought out carbine.

I'm glad to see the LaRue Tactical EOTech mount fits over the knurled ring.

Thank you. As for the EOTech mount fitting over the ring, it took some minor modifying of the mount to get clearance. I had to grind a few mm's off a portion of the mount's right rail just above the ring to get complete clearance. Not much needs to come off for it to fit but in stock trim it's not going to happen. I used a touch up pen to cover what was ground. So little is taken off though you would have to remove the mount from the rifle and flip it over to see it.

Nice setup Yaki.  I was wondering how it was looking.  I've gotta come by some time and get a hands on view.

actually it feels about the same as my Colt LE6920 which is in stock trim. Light and comfortable (minus the bayonet of course)

Thanks bro, we'll hit the range Thursday and break yours in properly . Dad and I put 90 rounds or so through it today. Definitely one loud son of a bitch, the Grendel sounds like a 22 L.R. compared to this.
