My M4 build is going to be something like this. LMT M4 upper receiver and barrel assembly YHM light-weight handguards Maybe YHM front sight TD Vert grip ARMS #40 BUIS Any suggestions? Should I get a front flip up sight or just stick with the standard front sight? Pics, comments and anything relating to my M4 build would be appreciated. Thanks |

I'm using YHM 4 rail (removable bottom), it’s a good solid mounting platform. You do need to be careful on installation though. The swivel stud mounts in the front of the hand guard are both nice and annoying (you loose that front mounting slit), however if you’re going to attach a Harris bipod using this mount I wouldn't recommend it. It does the job, but the bipod is angled a little too far forward. Good luck, and remember to post pictures. |
