Does anyone make a weld on barrel extension to bring a 14.5" bushy barrel out to 16"?  Is it even possible?  Basically I'd like to have a 16" threaded end on a 14.5" barrel.

Thanks,

MG

Sell the 14.5 and buy a 16" - what your asking for is possible (with the necissary time, talent and tools) but definately neither practical nor available.

Why not just buy a good muzzle device to bring your 14.5 to 16 and leave it?

Bushmaster has a weld-on flash suppressor that effectively adds
about 3-4", if memory serves me correctly. Wait until the AWB
expires, when it's legal to have a flash suppressor again. If its
welded on, its considered part of the barrel.

He wants to have threads on the end of the welded on piece though.
