I have a SW45, the knock off Special Weapons version of the MP5, chambered in .45. Say what you want, it fires flawlessly and is a hoot to shoot. Anyway, The barrel...it is a little thin for my liking. Anyone know anyone who can custom make a barrel for this kind of gun? I want a heavier barrel, maybe fluted. I know there are hundreds of guys who make custom barrels for ARs, Rem700, and Win70s, but can anyone help me with this? Disclaimer: I recognize this is a non AR question in the AR section, but I couldnt find a Special weapons page or a gunsmith/custom work ssection. Sorry. |

Because they're pretty well universally despised, kind of like Century... If SW did a good enough job, and IF it's possible to re-barrell a MP-series gun, you might try finding a 'real' HK UMP BBL... |
