[ARCHIVED THREAD] - VLTOR question

I am interested in a VLTOR stock but what makes me reconsider is that fact that I have a beard. I have on occasion pulled out hair with the standard collapsing buttstock in the second position. The vltor stock looks like one big beard trap to me. Anyone with a beard have shooting experiance with a vltor? Interested to hear what you have to say.

Take my word for it, it is a beard trap. That is its only drawback.

Agreed. I have a piece of duct tape on the cheek rest of mine. The tape eliminates the problem completely.

If you like the stock but not the teeth, try CHEEK-EEZ. I know more that a few shooters who have done it with good results. The 1/16" thick sorbothane pad covers nicely.
