[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Vert Grip/Light combo

A buddy of mine had a vert grip on his M4 in Iraq that had a 1" ring on the top for a SureFire 6P or comparable light on the top. It was kind of like an ARMS foregrip but it had a 1" ring on top instead of a throw lever. Anyone got any info on these?

Well,SureFire makes a light/vertical grip combo that stores the batteries in the grip but I dont have one,so I dont know much about it.A couple of people here have one.

Na, not that million dollar piece of work. It's just a cheap grip with a ring on the top. I break too much stuff to get an M900.

I know exactly what you're talking about- thell me if I'm right- this link has pics.
My understanding is that they're made by unit armorers- If you get any info about someone mass producing them but sure to post it.
