I saw this thing on the Fulton Armory website.  Who makes it?  What's it made of?  Anyone have one? If so do you like/hate it?

I've got one. in carbine length...rock solid, very thick metal.  I can't imagine ever being able to damage this tube through abuse.   The rails will accept anything I've tried to put on them.  They're not light, though, if that's a consideration.

I've got no complaints about mine whatsoever.  At the time, the only competition it had was the FIRSH, everything else was a lot more expensive. FA is about 45 minutes from here, so I just drove on over and snagged one.

BTW, the Yankee Hill wrench works great on the jam ring of the Liberator II.

The weight thing is definately an issue.

Does the top rail line up with the rail on the flattop?

Then I'd check out the YHM lightweight...it's only about 7oz, iirc.  I'm very happy with the YHM stuff I've gotten so far, and I may actually get that lightweight tube for the rifle that has the Lib. II on there, just to save a little weight myself.

On the Lib II, the top rail lines up fine...but I didn't index it with that in mind, so the slots don't line up right...too big a gap between upper and tube...so that when I tried to move my ARMS #38 forward for shits and grins, I could only get one of the slot pieces back in.  I could solve that problem by moving the tube forward and re-tightening the jam nut I suppose.

Now, on my Yankee Hill tube, it seems to be just a hair higher than the flat top...so that could be an issue there.  Once again, though, I didn't get the slots lined up, so I couldn't tell for sure....plus I had the Customizable tube, which is a round tube with places to mount various lenght rails on.  Don't know if this will be an issue with the tubes with built in rails.
