i shoot left handed when i shoot rifle. I am thinking of buying a 308 DMPS rifle. Theese rifles do not have a shell deflektor. Does anyone know if this is a problem? will i get the shells in my face

I also am a Lefty, glad to met another person in their right mind...

Do what I do, catch the flying brass in your teeth, YUP makes you look like a real bad ass..

J/K with ya, I have no idea if the 308 would be problem or not, I know that my regular ARs give me no problems, and my Remington 1100 goves me no problems either...

i have a bushmaster and some other semi automatic rifles, and i have noe problem with them.

I don't think it comes in the .308 but DPMS has a ar15 in a left hand model-the upper is sort of a mirror image and ejects to the left side.Uses a standard lower so mag release is still on right side. NHSPORT

When I shoot an SP1 or A1 type AR, about every thrid round will ding me in the head. So unless there is some type of provision for this I believe you could expect to get hit.

Check this out from Bushmaster. Never used one but it sounds like a good idea. I'm also a lefty shooter in my right state of mind.
