What stock do you have on your AR for home defense. I keep an A2 stock on mine because I dont think a collapsible stock  would not break if I have to hit someone.  I havent handled any collapsible stocked ARs so what do you think, is it a good idea to have one?

Our SOCOM stocks will take a beating (as well as give one), but I prefer the fixed stock and I like it in the A1 lenght vs. the A2 (better lenght of pull for CQB or with a vest on)....

collapsible stock is best IMO. You don't see the military and SWAT teams in CQB with A2 stocks because they make the rifle too long, going around corners, etc. Just remember to fix bayonet.

Go with whatever you are most comfortable.  BTW, if you are worried about hitting someone with the butt you have problems.  If 30 rounds doesnt bring the sucker down, I am going to be running like hell.

No they don't stock any of our furniture sets, but they can order it for you.  If they get enough requests for the items they'll start stocking them.

I prefer the A1 or the Cav Arms C1 over both. I think the A2 is too long and with the collapsable, you lose the storage compartment. I store all kinds of stuff in the compartment of my Cav Arms stock.

Ditto the A1.  If I'm "up close and personal" and have any sort of FTF, I like the fact that I have a solid stock on one end and one of the "agressive" phantom FH's on the other.

Well said--I was thinking the same thing.

My vote is for the collapsible stock since it keeps down on the overall profile of the weapon.

Can I order your stuff online from anywhere?  It a 2 1/2 hour drive to the nearest dealer .  And I really want a SOCOM stock.  Thanks

Most of the dealers listed in our dealer section do online/mail order sales.

In AZ, Ameetec Arms, Arizona Expert Arms, and Adrenaline Arms all do mail order sales.
