can anyone post a pic of a .223 ar next to a .308 ar?

Sorry I cannot help you, as I sold off my ArmaLite AR-10. But I can tell you that the two rifles are basically the same size, with the AR-10's upper and lower receivers being slightly longer to accommodate the longer .308WIN round.

The black 20", fourth from the left with the big Leupold scope, is an AR10. I replaced the stock with a CavArms C1 (A1-length), but otherwise it's stock.
