i am looking at getting a bushmaster varminter special used off the web. The seller says that there have been 1000 rounds of 223 through it and 300 0f 22lr he wants $800 for it i wanted to know if this is a good deal or should i continue to look around. thanks for your help sean |

I would be hesitant to buy an AR (especialy a precision AR like a varmint special) sight un-seen that has been used with a .22lr conversion kit. .22lr through an AR bbl will have a lot of lead fouling wich affects accuracy, wich will totaly counter the reason for buying the varminter, obviously. |
