Thanks everyone, Thats great news! You all have great looking ARs, (must be that modstock) I am going to get a rifle VLTOR Modstock. any disadvantages to the Mod. Stock USMC03, I have got to have a carbine similiar to the configuration of your O.D. rifle, I keep seeing it and I love it. Who makes those Rail covers? are they plastic or rubber? |

wht kind of grip is that there in the first pic in this thread in Big Bore's post? Why do you put a Rifle Mod Stock an a preban when you could put a tele stock on it? When you say "carbine mod stock" do you mean a telescoping stock? Perhaps I am confused about the names of the ULTOR stuff. |
I think I can answer you first question, I think its a First Samco Ambi grip, Who Knows? Some don't like Telestocks. The Carbine Modstock is seen in the third Picture posted by USMC03. and its VLTOR |
Poorman, I have had a lot of problems with Krylon chipping and flaking. I've done complete guns and some furniture sets...and I had tried preping them with different methods, and nothing stops the flacking / chipping with the Krylon. With the Aluma-Hyde I have had ZERO issues with the Aluma-Hyde chipping or flaking. The Aluma-Hyde has a differnt feel than Krylon paint. Read my response at this thread: Aluma-Hyde II Info |

Super Chicken, The rifle started out as a Bushmaster factory gun, so the upper is a Bushmaster. The barrel is a customized Armalite Mid-Length and the rail system is a Daniel Defense 9.0 handguard.
