I found this photo of a interesting SPR in use by a U.S. Army MP in Iraq.

Not an SPR but merely a standard M16A2 with a scope affixed to a carry handle rail.

I'd call it a "Field Improvised" SPR or better yet a SAM.

Can anyone tell me what the object is forward of the FSB, 12 o'clock on the barrel?

It almost looks like a ACE stock? Do you see the lower tubing?

that laser is a "big no no" on a precision weapon. That's probably a $200 Tasco scope he bought from Midwayusa.

wonder if they deliver to Iraq?
